How to Watch IPTV on Android Phones and TV Boxes
Set up IBO Player Pro on an Android phone, tablet, Android TV or TV box and add your subscription correctly.
Android gives you several ways to watch on a phone, tablet, Android TV or television box. We recommend using a supported player and keeping your login information private.
Install the player
Open the Google Play Store, search for IBO Player Pro, and check that the developer shown is Zonepay LTD. Install the app and open it. On devices without the Play Store, use Downloader with code 481220, following the same method as our Firestick guide.
Add your subscription
Depending on the device, the app may ask you to create an account or display a MAC Address and Device Key. Follow the screen, then send the requested details to our support team. If you receive an M3U link, paste it only into the official player field.
Phone versus television setup
Touch-screen devices are convenient while travelling around the UK, while Android TV and television boxes are easier to control from the sofa. The subscription credentials remain the same, but one subscription plays on only one device at a time.
Useful Android settings
- Disable battery optimisation for the player if playback stops in the background.
- Use 5 GHz Wi-Fi for high-quality streams when signal strength is good.
- Clear the player cache—not its data—if menus become slow.
- Restart the router and Android device after persistent connection problems.
Need simultaneous viewing?
A single subscription can be installed on up to three devices, but it plays on one at a time. If two or three people want to watch simultaneously, choose the matching number of subscriptions at checkout. Read our multiple-subscription guide for examples.
See all supported devices in the installation guide or choose a plan.
